Orangey Blue

for those feeling down lately, or just slightly sad all this while.

I hope you remember that even when you feel like the most broken piece of shit or the greatest slump of mess, that there is beauty within.

Or even in moments when your soul has withered or heart has shattered, that beauty lies within.

“Everybody wants a life without pain. And what does it get you? She needs to be on a poster somewhere to remind people that pain is there for a reason.” — Grey’s Anatomy

Okay now, maybe not everyone wants a life without pain and many people in this world do know the importance of pain, but this quote is still a pretty cute reminder — that whatever we feel, good or bad, at least we can.

There is something fascinating about pain — it is beautiful and important.

However, I am not in any way saying that you should deliberately feel it and indulge in them forever if you’re feeling it. It’s just that, I think, as long as one does not remember or acknowledge that there IS beauty within negativity, that it would be quite near impossible to stand back up.

And even the worst intractable mistake you think or felt you did, does not make you any less of a person, as long as you continue to grow from it (again, this is not an excuse to intentionally hurt others!).

To end this on a beautiful (wink) note, here’s a pretty song down below for all of you!

“I wish you bluebirds in the spring

to give your heart a song to sing

and then a kiss,

but more than this

I wish you love”

Song Title: “I Wish You Love”

What is pain to you? How’s love like in your eyes?
