Back to Basics

KISS principle, keep it simple right.

life’s actually pretty easy.

just gotta take it a step at a time,

break things down,

solve any problems coming in your way,

appreciate what you have or anything in your life,

perhaps pursue what you want and don’t have gradually,

feel when you can,

think when you should,

and just switch off when you don’t have to be functioning.

“have the courage to change the things you can, and the serenity to accept the things you can’t”

so, I wondered a while back. WHY is it that, there could be so many people in pain and sufferings, or perhaps just drowning in pools of negativity?

frankly, never quite understood why (also we do have something called Automatic negative Thoughts (ANTs), but they can be controlled though), till I TRIED IT myself (dang it).

and I could see why.

it’s painful, negative, convoluted and confusing, yet strangely comforting, interesting and fulfilling.

the ability to make a mountain out of a molehill, or even a molehill out of a mountain — it feels oddly good, and nice even.

or perhaps a frame of mind could easily argue that there’s nothing wrong with negativity, because that, with all other things, is a part and parcel of life.

or if you’re just curious about why, and try it yourself, it could lead to a butterfly effect? that the smallest of things can have non-linear impacts on a complex system.

1 thing leads to another, and then it gets hard to pull yourself out of it.

a pretty apt quote!

“life is easy but we insist on making it complicated” — Confucius

a beautiful yet dangerous concept

how “should” life be to you?
